  1. Lease your IP by chatting with CenturyLink customer service or calling us at:
    • Residential 800-788-3500
    • Small Business 800-786-6272
  2. Wait 1 hour for your request to process.
  3. Unplug the power to your modem, wait 3 minutes.
  4. Plug the power cord back into your modem, wait for the internet light to turn green.
  5. Chat with tech support to see if your modem needs any additional configuration. (varies by area)
