CenturyLink Moves Pricing Information To Online Catalog

As of May 1, 2014, the provisions governing many of the telecommunications services and features provided by the CenturyLink local telephone companies to Washington customers moved from tariffs filed with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission to Catalog Terms set out on the CenturyLink web site. By moving products and services to a Catalog, CenturyLink will be able to respond to your telecommunications needs more quickly. For many Qwest services, this move occurred in 2007. Now, all of the companies are regulated in the same way.

The CenturyLink services are now provided under the terms of the relevant Catalog instead of tariffs, and the Catalog is the contract between you and CenturyLink. As a user of any of these services or features, you agree to the provisions in the Catalog unless you cancel the service or feature. Over time, CenturyLink may change the Catalog(s) by adding the change to the Catalog and giving you reasonable notice of important changes instead of filing them with the Commission.

The services and features affected by this change include the local services and features provided to Washington customers, including terms and conditions of service, the provisions governing the in-state long-distance services and features, the provisions governing directory assistance, operator services, and speed calling provided to Washington customers.

You may still direct your comments or complaints regarding services and features – or the Catalog itself – to the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission. You can view the rates, terms, and conditions for tariffed and cataloged services at To read more about or view the Catalog in its entirety, please visit us online at or call us at 1 800-244-1111 (for residential customers) or 1 800-603-6000 (for business customers).
