Paying by credit or debit card

If you'd like to pay your bill online using a credit or debit card, you can. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

To pay your bill with a credit or debit card:

  1. Click Billing, then click  Make Payment.
  1. For each account you want to make a payment on, select the checkbox next to the account(s). In the Amount to Pay column, type the amount you want to pay. (By default, Control Center assumes you want to pay the full amount owing.)

  2. Click Continue.
  1. Click Fee - Pay With Credit or Debit Card.
  1. CenturyLink charges a convenience fee (for each account) to pay your bill with a credit card. To accept this fee and complete your payment, click I Agree. (You can avoid this fee if you pay by bank account.)
  1. Do one of the following:

    • To make a payment using a saved card, select the card you'd like to use from the Method of Payment field, and skip to step 10.

    • To make a payment using a new card, continue with the next step. (You can save the information for future payments.)

  2. In the Method of Payment field, select the New Credit or Debit Account.
  1. Fill in the information for your credit card (card number, expiration date, and zip code).

  2. Select the I agree to these Terms and Conditions checkbox.

  3. If you want to save the card for future use, click the Save this payment method checkbox.

  4. Click Next.
  1. Verify that the information you entered is correct, then click Submit Payment. (If the information is not correct, click the green Make Changes link and make your corrections.)
  1. Review and keep the confirmation information that appears on the screen.

Control Center sends you an email confirming your payment. (If you don't receive an email, make sure your contact information is correct.)
