Editing a schedule for yearly holidays

As an administrator, you can set an Auto Attendant schedule on holidays so callers hear a greeting with special menu options. A schedule is comprised of a series of events, so you will need to edit an event to change the schedule. The holidays schedule is comprised of a series of events, so you’ll need to edit or add events to change the schedule.

To edit a holidays schedule:
  1. Click the Advanced Services tab. 
  1. Click Auto Attendants
  1. From the Actions list, select Edit Service

The Incoming Call tab opens.

  1. Click the Schedule tab.

    The Office Hours tab opens.
  1. Click the Holidays tab.  
  1. Click Edit Holiday Schedule.  
  1. For the event you want to change, click Edit
  1. In the Name field, type a new name.
  1. To select the day for the holiday, do one of the following: 

    • For an all day holiday, select the All Day Event checkbox.

    • To schedule certain days for the holiday, in the Start field select a date for the schedule to start, then click the End field to select a date for the event to end.
  1. Click the Recurrence tab.
  1. Determine whether you want to schedule the event by Date or Day.
  1. To set the event By Date.

    1. Select the By Date radio button. 

    2. From the January list, select the month. 

    3. From the 1 list, select the day of the month. 
  1. To set the event By Day.

    1. Select the By Day radio button. 

    2. From the First list, select the week of the month. 

    3. From the Sunday list, select the day of the week.

    4. From the January list, select the month.
  1. Click Save, then click Save again.
