Editing the name assigned to an Auto Attendant

By default, a 10-digit phone number is assigned as the Auto Attendant name, but as an administrator, you can change it. However, you may not change the number of an Auto Attendant.

To edit the name assigned to an Auto Attendant:
  1. Click the Advanced Services tab. 
  1. Click Auto Attendants
  1. From the Actions list, select Edit Service

The Incoming Call tab opens.

  1. Click on the Attendant Name field, then type a name to describe that Auto Attendant.  
  1. Click Save
