Setting outbound calling permissions at the user level

Outbound call settings are defined at the group and individual user level. If users deviate from the group dialing plan, as an administrator, you can customize them. For example, if all phones are blocked from long distance at the group level, but one of the employees needs to make long distance calls, then this exception can be accommodated.

To set outbound calling permissions for a user:

  1. Click the Numbers tab.
  1. On the row of the number you want to edit, click Actions > Edit User Features.
  1. Click the Calling Permissions tab.
  1. To customize the settings for a user, select the Use custom settings checkbox.
  1. Click Save.
