
You can use the Search and Verify CFA option to search and verify a CFA (SONET, T1, T3 or channel) for a specified facility or channel and view Carrier Facility Assignment information.
Using this option, you can:
Send Direct T1, T3, OCn, or channel inquiries
Send a CFA Request using previously saved data
Using Search and Verify CFA, you can view Carrier Facility Assignment (CFA) data for a channel that you own or lease. You can view the required data in any of the following ways:
Steps
To Send Direct T1, T3, OCn, or Channel Search
In the Qwest CEMR toolbar, click the Pre
Validation tab. The Service Address
Validation window appears by default. Click the Search
and Verify CFA tab.
The Search and Verify CFA window
is displayed.
Enter the required information such as Channel Group Number, Facility Type, A-CLLI, and Z-CLLI. Refer to Field Descriptions- Searching and Verifying CFA for the description of the fields.
Click the Submit
button.
Depending on your search criteria, the results of your search are displayed
in a Carrier Information window
(T1s and T3s) or SONET Information
window (OCns).
Select the circuit that you would like to view, from the list displayed.
You can perform CFA
inquiries from Carrier Information and SONET Information windows. Refer
to the Searching from
CFA Response Windows section for detailed instructions.
To Send a CFA Query Using Previously Saved Data
In the Qwest CEMR toolbar, click the Pre
Validation tab. The Service Address
Validation window appears by default. Click the Search
and Verify CFA tab.
The Search and Verify CFA window
is displayed.
Select the previously saved query from the Previous Queries drop-down list.
Depending on the query you select, the information for the fields is
displayed by the system.
A list of your 50 most recently entered CFA queries is
displayed. The information displayed, is separated by slashes (/).
Click the Submit
button.
Depending on your search criteria, the results of your search are displayed
in a Carrier Information window
(T1s and T3s) or SONET Information
window (OCns).
Select the circuit that you would like to view, from the list displayed.
Click the DLR button to view the Design Layout Report (DLR) of the circuit.
