Paying by bank account

If you'd like to pay your bill online using a bank account, you can use your checking, savings, or money market account. You'll need your routing and account number to finalize the payment.

If you'd like your bill to be paid automatically each month, you can enroll in Autopay.

To pay your bill using a bank account:

  1. Click Billing, then click One-Time Payments.
  1. Click Bank Account.
  1. For each account you want to make a payment on, select the checkbox next to the account(s). By default, the amount due is shown in the Pay Amount field, if you want to change it, click the Pay Amount field, then type the amount you want to pay.
  1. Click Continue.
  1. Review the account(s) and amount(s) you've selected to pay, then do one of the following:

    • If you need to make changes, click Back and return to step 3.

    • If you want to proceed with your payment(s), click Continue.
  1. At the bottom of the page, select the checkbox next to the authorization statement: I authorize CenturyLink to charge… (You may need to scroll down to see it.)
  1. Click Proceed.
  1. To make a payment, do one of the following:

    • Using a saved bank account, select the account you'd like to use from the Method of Payment field. Skip to step 13.

    • Using a new account, continue with the next step. (You can save the information for future payments.)
  1. In the Method of Payment field, select the type of account you'd like to use.
  1. In the Routing Number field, type your banks routing number.
  1. In the Account Number field, type your bank account number. 
  1. If you want to save this account to pay with for future months, select the Save this payment method checkbox. (Your bank account information is stored securely by our payment processing vendor. CenturyLink does not store this information.)
  1. Select the I agree to these Terms and Conditions checkbox.
  1. Click Next.
  1. Verify that the information you entered is correct, then click Submit Payment. (If the information is not correct, click the Make Changes link and make your corrections.)
  1. Review and keep the confirmation information that appears on the screen.

    Control Center sends you an email confirming your payment. (If you don't receive an email, make sure your contact information is correct.)
