Customizing your Control Center dashboard (homepage)

You can customize the Control Center home page—known as the dashboard—to match the way you work within the portal.

The main navigation consists of up to five tiles (depending on your permissions):

  • Billing: view/pay/print bills, create billing tickets
  • Admin: change your profile, add/manage users
  • Products & Services: view/manage your inventory, view order status, create/manage orders
  • Service Management: create/view repair tickets, request a configuration change
  • Reports: create reports, analyze your network usage and performance

Additional links (available on every page in Control Center):

  • My Links: quickly access Manage Orders, and the three pages you've visited most (in the last 30 days)
  • Profile: view and edit your user profile and view list of your system adminstrators
  • Alerts: set up notifications and customize how you receive alerts (e.g., phone, text, Alert Center)
  • Help: access our library of support topics to learn how to use Control Center
  • Contact: chat online with Wholesale Customer Care, email support, access CenturyLink Wholesale Support Options

Did you know? What you see when you log in to the Control Center is based on three things:

  1. your viewing preferences
  2. the types of services your company subscribes to
  3. the permission levels you have.

You can customize the Control Center Dashboard to reflect your role and what you do. These widgets are available for you to add (or remove) from your Control Center dashboard:

  • Customize My Dashboard: change how your Control Center Dashboard looks
  • Network Map: quickly see the health and status of your network
  • Inventory: view
  • Billing Summary: list of billing accounts (clicking on accounts will navigate to Billing tile > Invoices subtile)
  • Active Ticket Summary: view a summary of open repair tickets (including status). Quickly access the ticket by clicking on the ticket number.

The dashboard is made up of widgets that you can add, delete or move. ("Widget" is a short way of saying, "boxes that show specific information.")

To customize your dashboard widget, do the following:

  1. Click the Customize My Dashboard bar (under the main tiles) to expand the widget.
  1. Use the box with the gray dotted line to customize your dashboard:

    • To remove an widget from your dashboard, drag the widget to the right (out of the dotted line box).

    • To add a widget to the dashboard, drag the widget to the left (into the dotted line box).

    • To reorder how the widgets appear, drag the widget (within the dotted line box) to the location you want it to appear in.

  2. When you're done, click Save. (To start again, click Reset.)

  3. Click the Customize My Dashboard bar to close the widget.

Did you know? Which widgets you're able to add varies based on your role and permission level.
