Exploring the Control Center dashboard

When you log in to Control Center, the dashboard appears. You'll see the tabs for navigating around the portal, key performance indicators (KPIs) for your services—based on your permissions, and widgets to give you more insight into your services.

Navigation tabs

Use the six navigation tabs to manage your services:
  • Admin—change your profile, add/manage users, find your system administrator
  • Inventory—view/manage your products and services
  • Orders—view order status, create/manage orders, explore additional services
  • Service Mgmt—create/view repair tickets, view circuit tests, request a configuration change
  • Reports—create reports, analyze your network use and performance
  • Billing—view/pay/print bills, create billing requests, add accounts

Additional links (available at the top of every page in Control Center):

  • Profile ()—view and edit your user profile (click your username to access your profile)
  • Alerts ()—set up notifications and customize how you receive alerts (e.g., text, email, Alert Center)
  • Help ()—our library of support topics to learn how to use Control Center

Dashboard KPIs (key performance indicators)

Based on your Control Center permissions, you'll see up to three KPIs: billing, tickets and alerts. Use the KPIs to access information about your CenturyLink services. To view more information, click the KPI.

Dashboard widgets

Use the dashboard widgets to view orders and tickets by service location, access the pages you visiti most, view information about upcoming network maintenance, etc.
  • Activity Map widget—view orders and or tickets by service location. Use the list in the upper-right corner of the widget to customize the information you see.
  • Frequently Visited widget—view and access the portal pages you use most often.
  • Network Maintenance widget—view any upcoming network maintenance affecting your services for the coming month. Click to view more information about the event(s).
  • Contacts widget—access help for the Control Center and MyLevel3 portals.
  • Recent News widget—view the latest news for CenturyLink. Stay up-to-date about new products and additional services.
