Course Description
This instructor-led course provides an overview of the process for requesting Local Interconnection Services (LIS) from CenturyLink™. Ordering requirements and ASR form submission are explained in detail as well.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to:
- Describe LIS product, features and benefits
- Define different LIS network configurations
- Describe the process of ordering LIS Services from CenturyLink
- Determine the required forms to submit a request
- Identify the required fields on each form
- Define the interval guidelines for LIS Services
Prerequisites
- Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
- Knowledge of digital technology
- Local CenturyLink 101 "Doing Business with CenturyLink"
- LIS Trunking

The target audience for the training is primarily CLECs and External Customers, but the training is available to anyone that would like an overview of the subject.
