Caller ID - V12.0

History Log

Product Description

Caller ID displays the name and/or number of the calling party before you answer the telephone. Caller ID requires a display screen.

The Caller ID name database will have up to 15 characters of the calling party's listing displayed, using standard abbreviations.

Two Caller ID products are available:

  • Caller ID Number -- Displays the telephone number of the calling party.
  • Caller ID Name and Number -- Displays the telephone number of the calling party as well as the listing associated with the calling party's telephone number in most cases.

In some instances, Caller ID will display the state or country of the originating WTN rather than "Unavailable" when that call is received from outside the CenturyLink network.

Wireless calls will display on Caller ID the city and state (or just the state) from which the call originated.

Anonymous Call Rejection must be installed on all lines requesting Caller ID with the exception of accounts with Multi-Line Hunting (Anonymous Call Rejection is not compatible with Multi-Line Hunting).
