Product Description

International Blocking prevents completion of outgoing 011+ and 101XXXX011+ International Direct-Dialed calls; e.g., 011+852+(Hong Kong telephone number) will be blocked.

International Blocking will not block International Direct Dialed calls placed with an area code; e.g., 1+441-nnn-nnnn (Bermuda)

Availability

In DMS™-100 COs:

  • International Blocking must be established on all lines in a Multi-Line Hunting group.
  • Centrex 21 can not have International Blocking.

International Blocking is not available on:

  • Budget Measured Residential Service
  • Measured Business Service (ID-N, OR, WA)
  • Message Business Service
  • Message Residence
  • Residential Centron Service

International Blocking is available in all states with UNE-P POTS service provided to residential and business end-users.

Pricing

Rate Structure

For retail and resale services, International Blocking may have a nonrecurring charge but no recurring charge based on state specific Tariffs/Catalogs/Price Lists.

In Minnesota, there are no nonrecurring charges assessed to residential end-users based on specific Tariffs/Catalogs/Price Lists.

For facilities-based services, e.g. UNE-P and UBS, International Blocking may have nonrecurring and recurring charges.

Rates and/or discounts are available in Exhibit A or the specific rate sheet in your Interconnection or Resale Agreement.

Blocking is added or removed by using the BA and BLOCK fields on the product specific LSOG form, in addition to completing the Feature Activity Types and Feature Code information identified below.

  • Blocking Activity Type E and the BLOCK value G - No 011 (International)

  • Blocking Activity Type D and the BLOCK value G - No 011 (International)
