Product Description

Custom Number Services include Easy Number, Number Search, Same Number, and Personalized/Custom Number which allow you and/or your end users to request assignment of specific or preferred telephone numbers.

Easy Number

allows your end users to select one or more Telephone Numbers (TNs) from a group of five TNs that may:
  • End in two or three zeroes, e.g. 572-1000, 572-1400
  • End with at least three repetitive numbers, 572-3444
  • Include repetitive, sequential numbers, 572-2233
  • Include sequential numbers, 572-2345

Number Search

begins when the initially offered selection of TNs is not acceptable to the end-user and they request alternative choices. The initially offered selection of TNs is three numbers for residential end-users and five numbers for business end-users. Note that five numbers will be initially offered for Unbundled Network Elements - Platform (UNE-P), Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS), Unbundled Network Element - Switching (UBS), and CenturyLink Local Services Platform(CLSP™) Business and Residential services.

Same Number

allows the end-user to request re-assignment of their previous and same TN ninety (90) days to twelve (12) months following termination, e.g. disconnection.

Personalized/Custom Number

allows end-users to requests a specific telephone number.

Custom Number is available in ID-S. MT, NM, UT, WY

Easy Number is available in AZ, CO, ND

Number Search is available in AZ, CO, ND

Personalized Number is available in AZ, CO, IA, ND, NE, SD, OR, WA.

Same Number is available in AZ, CO, MN, ND.

Custom Number Services may have recurring and/or nonrecurring charges based on state specific Tariffs/Catalogs/Price Lists.

Retail rates for this feature can be found in the state specific Tariffs/Catalogs/Price Lists.

Rates and/or discounts for these services when ordered with Interconnection and Resale services are available in Exhibit A or the specific rate sheet in your Interconnection or Resale Agreement.

Rates and/or discounts for this feature when ordered with Commercial Solutions products (e.g. CLSP) are available in the Rate Sheet of your Master Services Agreement (MSA).
