This last diagram illustrates two scenarios for Wireless Local Calls.
Call outside ported area - Non-conforming CMRS:
- Mobile Caller F makes a call within the LCA,
but from outside the MSA and the ported area, to Caller C.
- CMRS-1 is the designated N-1 carrier. CMRS-1
may rely on LEC-1 (or LEC-2) to terminate default routed calls, and
then LEC-1 (or LEC-2) performs the actual N-1 carrier function.
