Customer Electronic Maintenance and Repair-Maintenance Ticketing Gateway (CEMR-MTG)
Training Description
This self-directed, web-based course teaches participants to use the CenturyLink™ Customer Electronic Maintenance & Repair (CEMR-MTG) system and to troubleshoot and submit trouble reports on design and non-design circuits. This course also provides system demonstrations and allows you to complete hands-on activities using the CEMR-MTG system.

Training Objectives
The training goal is to provide the information necessary for CLECs, Resellers, IXCs, Wireless, ILECs and Paging customers to troubleshoot and submit trouble reports on design and non-design circuits using the CEMR-MTG system. The course is benefit oriented, stressing ease of use, troubleshooting tips, reduction of report errors, quality of trouble reporting and improvement of report flow through. The web-based training includes an overview, demonstration, and practice of the features and capabilities of CEMR-MTG.
Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to:
- Describe how to use the Pre-Validation Services functionality of CEMR-MTG
- Create a trouble report on a designed circuit
- Create a trouble report on a non design circuit
- Verify features associated with a specific phone number
- Identify and access the three Appendices (Circuit ID Formats, Standard CenturyLink abbreviations and Non Design Services)
Prerequisites
- Experience using web-based, graphical user interfaces
- Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
- Review of the CEMR-MTG User Guide
- Working knowledge of CenturyLink Wholesale Website
- Local CenturyLink 101 "Doing Business with CenturyLink"
Audience
The target audience for the training is CLECs, Resellers, IXCs, Wireless, ILECs and Paging. This training will assist you in using CEMR-MTG to submit trouble reports and allow you to be more effective in troubleshooting and issuing reports on circuits.
