Description Of Change
Currently a name and address match is performed on CLEC requests. During the editing process, a high number of requests are being flagged as near matches when they are in fact an exact match. Flagging a request as a near match can create manual work for the Interconnect Service Center and a delay in processing the CLEC order.

This Communicator is intended to be the final reminder that the Interconnect Mediated Access (IMA) 8.01 Release will be installed during the weekend of November 17-18, 2001. The Release Notes for this release are now available at: http://www.qwest.com/wholesale/ima/gui/release.html . Please remember that the IMA GUI and EDI interfaces will not be available from 9:00p.m. Saturday, November 17 2001 until the Release Testing interval begins on Sunday , November 18, 2001. The Release Testing Interval available is currently scheduled for 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mountain time on Sunday, November 18, 2001. To participate in the testing interval, the Co-Providers must: 1) On Sunday, November 18, 2001 after 4:00 p.m. Mountain time, call the Software Release Information Line prior to starting the test. This line will provide a recorded announcement confirming that testing may begin or a new estimated testing time if we should experience any delays. The phone number for this Information Line will be (303) 965-8872. 2) Consider your test activities carefully. By the time we begin the testing, IMA will have been checked out from a technical perspective. You will be testing in a live production environment. 3) At any time during the testing interval, (6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mountain time), you may report any problems you encounter to our open conference bridge. The conference bridge number is 1-866-844-1448 with a pass code of 7233712 4) Attend a conference call at 8.00 p.m. Mountain time at the end of the testing interval for a recap of the outstanding issues and any updated status available at that time. Training Communiqué: IMA Release 8.01 Point Release Training - Update Issued: November 12, 2001 Qwest has updated the Wholesale Training web site to allow customers to register for the following conference bridge training sessions: IMA Release 8.01 Overview Tuesday, November 13, 2001 2:00 p.m. (MDT) Wednesday, November 14, 2001 10:00 a.m. (MDT) Thursday, November 15, 2001 10:00 a.m. (MDT) Thursday, November 15, 2001 2:00 p.m. (MDT) The IMA Release 8.01 CLEC Overview for training is in a downloadable format at http://www.qwest.com/wholesale/training/coursecatalog.html. Customers may now register to participate on the conference bridge at http://www.qwest.com/wholesale/training/courseregform.html. After submitting a registration the customer will receive a class confirmation with conference bridge number and passcode to attend the training.
