Description Of Change
Allow Re-DSRED Functionality and eliminate all manual DSRED processing. Today there are occasions when a DSRED with an AT status (successful/no errors) is produced, yet Qwest later finds the account/listing(s) has an erred condition. Since the Initial DSRED was sent indicating a successful update/no errors, Qwest must manually fax or email a follow-up DSRED to the Provider to inform them of the erred condition and required corrective procedures. In some cases, follow up may also be required on DSREDs with an RF (rejected) or AD (errors w/no follow by Qwest) status and a manual follow up DSRED is required in these situations as well. This new functionality will fully automate the DSRED process for all Providers.

1/21/09 Revision - XML providers would have the option to OPT out of the Re-DSRED functionality - since they may not be able to handle/process a second DSRED on a completed order - which all FBDL orders are always completed either with errors or without.

1/21/09 Systems CMP Meeting

Lee Gomez-Qwest stated that this CR will allow Re-DSRED Functionality and eliminate all manual DSRED processing. She said that today there are occasions when a DSRED with an AT status (successful/no errors) is produced, yet Qwest later finds the account/listing(s) has an erred condition. Lee said that since the Initial DSRED was sent indicating a successful update/no errors, Qwest must manually fax or email a follow-up DSRED to the Provider to inform them of the erred condition and required corrective procedures. She said that in some cases, follow up may also be required on DSREDs with an RF (rejected) or AD (errors w/no follow by Qwest) status and a manual follow up DSRED is required in these situations as well. This new functionality will fully automate the DSRED process for all Providers. Gloria Velez-AT&T asked if Qwest had defined the treatment on responses and will this be a new response. Lee Gomez-Qwest said that we haven’t worked through the details but would try to have some indicator that will tell you that it is a different DSRED to the original. Lee said that after completion you receive an error with an AT status that passed all edits and business rules. She said that today we have to send a manual fax for the correction and that this CR will allow us to do this via IMA vs. a Fax. Gloria Velez-AT&T said that this change sounds positive for companies that have the ability to receive the DSRED on a completed order. Joyce-Bilow-Paetec said that they can’t do this once the order is completed. Gloria Velez-AT&T said that they are in the same situation. Joyce-Bilow-Paetec said that they want the DSRED before completion. Unknown Participant asked if this could be done as an option with a box that one could check if they wanted it via fax or electronically. Lee Gomez-Qwest said that would take the request back to see if this would be something we could do.
