Description Of Change
Currently in IMA there are three categories of supplementals (corrections) that automatically fall into the manual handled bucket for manual intervention. The categories are indicated on the LSR in the SUP field:

Sup 1 indicates Cancel

Sup 2 indicates Due Date Change only

Sup 3 indicates all other changes, Name, equipment, etc.

This CR is requesting a change on the category number 2 for Due Date changes. When the SUP field on the LSR is populated with the number 2, the system should automatically flow through these LSRs and eliminate the automatic fall out for manual intervention.

Currently, Category 2 sups are being assigned for Due Date Changes as well as other changes. However, per the LSOG, Sup 2 is only for Due Date changes. With this change, valid Sup 2s (i.e. with only a Due Date change) should flowthrough, thus improvement on flowthrough. All other changes should be done on a SUP 3.

For Reqtyps AB, BB, CB, EB, and MB, for the month of Dec, 2001, there were 5,709 LSRs that dropped out for manual intervention.

Project Meetings

February 20, 2003 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Connie Winston/Qwest stated that this CR was Ok to close. There were no questions or comments.

December 19, 2002 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Connie Winston/Qwest said that when we had discussed that the 2nd half is being implemented for in the 11.1 release, specifically the design product flow through portion. When the supp 2 is coming in, we could work it in the provisioning side as well, the techs could be working the due date early, unbeknownst to the center, provisioning would stop it and say and say reject. She then stated that Jonathan Spanger/AT&T was going to take it back to his centers to make sure that was ok. Jonathan Spangler/AT&T said that as long as the supp we are submitting is based on an exception. The order has been submitted with the Service Order due date, we are about ready to install, it is 2 days prior, we would supp the order for the new due date, up to 2 days prior to the date that is requested. My understanding is that we supp number of our orders on a regular basis, then they will just complete out that order with the supp. It seems this would be systems edits that could block that. Connie Winston/Qwest said that what you are trying to do is supp it to what the field people are really doing. She will check but thought that was the centers understanding as well. Jonathan Spangler/AT&T asked if they could send a supp 3 instead. Beth King/Qwest stated that has been dealt with. The centers know that in the case where there are remarks that need to be added to a supp 2, it needs to be submitted as a supp 3 with remarks. Jonathan Spangler/AT&T said that he needs to tell his centers that they will need to submit this as a supp 3 and clearly indicate why this is a supp 3 with remarks. Jonathan Spangler/AT&T said that as long as he knows that he can use a supp 3, and can tell my centers that, I am ok to close this action item. This action item will be closed.

November 21, 2002 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion - IMA 11.1 Point Release Connie Winston-Qwest stated that there was a spill over candidate for 11.1, due date for design services. She stated that occasionally there could be a specific reason that an order is completed early. She stated that it is beneficial for everyone to complete the coordinated cut early. At the same time the technician is working on the coordinated cut, the centers are requesting a sup 2 due date change. The sup 2 will flow through to provisioning, provisioning would error that order because it has already been completed. When the center issues a sup 2 at or near the same time that the provisioning work is completing early, the sup 2 request will flow though and cause an error condition after FOC. Certainly, one solution could be that Qwest could implement a process that would not encourage early coordinated cuts. Or, another option would be to know that when this particular situation happens, you will get an error condition after FOC. Or, a final option would be to not deploy the flow though sup 2 due date changes. Bonnie Johnson-Eschelon asked when 11.1 would be implemented? Connie Winston-Qwest stated that it would be in January. Allegiance asked if the problem would be for an overlap of hours or weeks? Connie Winston-Qwest stated that she thought it would be over the course of a day. Jonathan Spangler-AT&T indicated that AT&T did sup due dates, but it would depend on the completion date. Liz Balvin-WorldCom stated that she thought that this error could happen today. Leilani Hines-WorldCom noted that multiple changes could, but that the CLECs still needed to be able to deliver as soon as possible. Jonathan Spangler-AT&T stated that he wanted to take the issue back to the business. Connie Winston-Qwest stated that Qwest was currently moving forward with implementation in January. She stated that any CLEC with any concerns about this issue should email them to cmpcr@qwest.com.

- August Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Attachment R = Change Requests Committed for IMA Release 11.0 Connie Winston/Qwest - we have one small issue requiring the Sup 2 (SCR013002-8 Flowthrough on Sup 2 Category Due Date) to be a spillover for 11.1. She explained why this will be a spillover into the point release. She noted that resale and UNE sup 2 due date change orders will flow through. The unbundled loop will drop out to the Center and will be updated by the Center until 11.1. Donna Osborne-Miller/AT&T - that’s line item #4 in the Attachment? Connie Winston/Qwest - yes. Michael Buck/Qwest - stated that the NOTE at the bottom of the page needs to be changed from 'In Definition' to 'Packaged'. Liz Balvin/WorldCom - asked how the 11.0 PO2 CR is different than the one in 12.0. Connie Winston/Qwest - they are just different edits. The edits are noted on each of the 2 CRs. Liz Balvin/WorldCom - with 12.0, would you say that any of the hours devoted to this would lower the 8,000 hours? Are you looking at that when you do the design? Connie Winston/Qwest - we always look at that, but the edits are different so I could expect a reduction in the LOEs. As we get further in design, we do update the LOE. Attachment R = Change Requests Committed for SATE Release 11.0 Connie Winston/Qwest - SATE has the same spillover candidate for 11.1, SCR013002-8 Sup 2. Michael Buck/Qwest - noted that items 3, 5, and 7 are SATE specific candidates. The others are IMA with SATE impacts. Wendy Green/Qwest - noted that the SATE side has a shorter list because of the GUI only impacting CRs going into IMA having no impact to SATE. Michael Buck/Qwest - any other questions in the room or on the bridge? None.

February 21, 2002 - Discussed at CMP: Jill Martain presented CR for Qwest. This is an eligible candidate for the 11.0 vote.
