Project Meetings

4/16/2014 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said the CEMR GUI application is no longer available as of April 1, 2014. The CR has been in CLEC Test since January 31, 2014. Mark said we would like to move it to Completed status. There were no objections.

3/19/2014 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said CEMR remains available until April 1, 2014 for customers to address pending transactions originated in CEMR and to also view historical transactions. The CR will remain in CLEC Test.

2/19/2014 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said as of January 31, 2014, no new repair transactions were allowed to be entered into CEMR but that CEMR would remain available until April 1, 2014 for customers to address pending transactions originated in CEMR and to also view historical transactions. Mark said we are proposing we leave the CR in CLEC Test until April 1. Mark said as of February 3, 2014, updates were made to the Wholesale web site to remove references to CEMR and MEDIACC.

1/15/2014 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink provided a reminder of the planned retirement of these systems effective January 31, 2014. Mark said we will be removing references to CEMR and MEDIACC from Wholesale web site via Level 1 notifications to be sent on Friday January 31, 2014 with an effective date of February 3, 2014.

Kim Isaacs - Integra said there is an issue that they uncovered in the transition to CEMR-MTG and that CenturyLink offered that CEMR will remain available for historical purposes. Kim said she has not seen any notification identifying that CEMR will remain available.

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said that notice will be coming out in the next day or so and was going through the approval process.

12/11/2013 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said, as a reminder, CEMR will be retired as of January 31, 2014. Mark said the formal initial retirement notice was sent on December 2, 2013 with a comment cycle that ends on December 17, 2013. The final formal retirement notice will be sent on January 10, 2014.

11/20/2013 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said, as a reminder, CEMR will be retired as of January 31, 2014. Mark said the formal initial retirement notice will be sent in early December.

10/16/13 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said we have talked about the retirement in multiple CMP meetings to remind customers that CEMR will be retired as of January 31, 2014. CenturyLink has sent out several Courtesy reminder notifications already and another will be sent in November. There are still over 100 customers that still need to migrate to CEMR-MTG. Service Management will be contacting customers to remind them to start this process.

09/18/13 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said this is a reminder of the upcoming retirement of CEMR on January 31, 2014. Mark said there are still a considerable number of customers that must migrate from CEMR to CEMR-MTG and that we are asking customers to move sooner versus later. We would prefer customers not wait until December. CL Service Managers are also l contact customers to remind them.

8/21/13 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said this is a reminder of the upcoming retirement of both CEMR and MEDIACC as of January 31, 2014. Mark requested that customers not wait until the last month prior to retirement and that they should contact Carrie Bousfield at CenturyLink to get moved over to the new applications.

7/17/13 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said during the June meeting, we indicated a system courtesy notice would be sent to remind customers of the upcoming CEMR retirement date of January 31, 2014. Mark said the notice had been sent on June 25 and customers should contact either their Service Manager or Carrie Bousfield to schedule/begin migration from CEMR to MTG-CEMR. Mark said only a handful of customers have started this process and that we hope that customers do not wait until the end of the year.

6/19/13 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said CenturyLink will soon be issuing a courtesy reminder notice of the upcoming CEMR retirement date of January 31, 2014. CMP guidelines don’t require us to send formal notification until December but we want to remind folks to talk with either their service manager or Carrie Bousfield to schedule and begin migration from CEMR to MTG-CEMR.

Kim Isaacs - Integra asked if any customers have switched to CEMR-MTG.

Carrie Bousfield - CenturyLink said there is one customer so far.

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said there are quite a few that need to move.

Kim Isaacs - Integra said she needs to understand the differences between CEMR and CEMR-MTG more to be able to prepare for the transition. Kim asked if there was information on the differences and whether there was a significant difference in the look and feel.

Denise Martinez - CenturyLink said there is no real change to the look and feel between CEMR and CEMR-MTG; they look almost exactly the same. Denise said there is a CEMR-MTG online User Guide available at http://www.centurylink.com/wholesale/systems/cemr-mtg.html that would be good to look at.

Bonnie Johnson - Minnesota Dept of Commerce said she thought there were two screens that were changed with CEMR-MTG that would also be beneficial to include.

Denise Martinez - CenturyLink relayed again that the differences between the CEMR and CEMR-MTG were very minor and that the look and feel are very similar.

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink asked if there were any other questions. There were none.

4/17/13 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said this was a new CR submitted by CenturyLink on April 1 and that it was mentioned in last month’s CMP monthly meeting. Mark said there was also Change Request SCR121608-01, Retirement of MEDIACC, included in this Attachment. The CR had been in a Withdrawn status and has been moved to an active status.

Denise Martinez – CenturyLink presented the new CR which she said is fairly simple in that CenturyLink plans to retire the existing CEMR application and replace it with the CEMR-MTG GUI that was introduced in February 2012. Denise said the planned effective date is January 31, 2014. Denise asked if there were any questions. There were none.
