Project Meetings

10/16/13 System CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said this Change Request is in CLEC Test. The CORA deployment occurred September 23, 2013 and there are no issues that we are aware of. Mark said we would like to consider the Change Request for closure. There were no objections.

09/18/13 System CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink relayed the CORA deployment is scheduled for this upcoming weekend with an effective date of September 23, 2013. At that time, the CR will be moved to CLEC Test and considered for closure in October.

7/17/13 System Monthly Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink relayed the CR was presented last month and that CenturyLink has some proposed changes to be discussed in the CORA Release 22.0 walk though scheduled for July 22, 2013 and would be covered at a high level in today’s meeting.

Bill West – CenturyLink reviewed the proposed changes to the CORA technical specifications which is to remove the “field number” column from the tech spec documentation. Bill said when new fields are added, it causes the “field number” to change and every line subsequent to that specific line to be renumbered. Bill said he thinks removing that column will make it easier for customers to see what is really changing.

Kim Isaacs – Integra asked if “field number” will be on the final view.

Bill West – CenturyLink said he is proposing to remove that column but that the “field number” will remain on the Access Service Order Guide itself. Field names will continue to be provided. Bill provided an example that relayed if the industry adds a new “field number” 39, then from 40 on will show a change even though there is no real change. With this proposed approach, Bill said he believes the true changes will be identified. Two documents have been posted to the CORA Document Review site: one the current version of the form and the proposed version. Bill asked attendees to look at both versions and they would be reviewed in more detail in the Walkthrough. Lisa Lynn - Granite said she assumed the renumbering would not impact them.

Bill West – CenturyLink said the renumbering should not impact them and that he thought this would make it easier for customers to read the documentation.

(7/26/13 Updates received from Integra in CAPS) KIM ISAACS – INTEGRA STATED SHE WOULD NEED TO CHECK WITH HER CORA DEVELOPERS.

6/19/13 System Monthly Meeting Tonia Crotty – CenturyLink presented the CR and associated changes as listed in the CR. The changes are planned for CORA Release 22.0 which is to be effective September 23, 2013. Tonia asked if there were any questions.

Randee Ryan – Comcast asked when the field is indicated to be updated, where is the information found.

Tonia Crotty – CenturyLink said the ATIS website relays the specific updates associated with each field.

Randee Ryan – Comcast confirmed the updates are to meet requirements of ASOG 47.

Tonia Crotty – CenturyLink said yes.

Mark Van de Water – AT&T asked what the effective date was going to be.

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink relayed the planned effective date for CORA Release 22.0 is September 23, 2013.
