Project Meetings

August 22, 2002 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Michael Buck/Qwest - this CR deployed on August 5th and we have heard of no issues with the deployment, are we ok to close? There was no dissent to the completions of this CR.

June 20, 2002 CMP Meeting Discussion: Gary Veik (Qwest) explained, Last month Qwest talked about changes to the NDM. This CR includes the same changes as last month, only for TELIS. Everyone who has been involved with OBF is aware of this, so all the changes are available to the CLECs. Gary reviewed the changes. He mentioned that Qwest does not develop TELIS. He noted that Qwest is responsible for maintaining it accordingly and that if anyone is interested in more info, they could go to the ATIS web site for changes, or the Cap Gemini web site for documentation. There were no questions from any participants. Gary Veik (Qwest) noted that Qwest is working on a new application called QORA (Qwest On-line Request Application). It is based on the TELIS application but it will do a lot more. He indicated that Qwest is looking at the fourth quarter for the first roll out of the application. He indicated that Qwest is looking for any companies that would be interested in testing this application to insure the functionality that would be needed. Qwest would like to have the CLEC’s input in the early stages of development. Bonnie Johnson (Eschelon) replied that she would check with Eschelon to see if they would be interested in testing with Qwest, because Eschelon uses TELIS. Gary Veik (Qwest) said that if any CLEC is interested in getting more information on this, to let him know and Qwest can get them involved. Michael Buck (Qwest) thanked Gary. He reiterated that this announcement from Gary was more of an FYI, and that there will be a CR brought forward. Gary Veik (Qwest) noted that there will also be pre-order functionality made available via NDM functionality. Same offer for GUI users goes out for NDM users. Qwest wants to make sure everyone has the same capabilities. Qwest will be following the OBF standards for both of these. Michael Buck (Qwest) said that to be consistent with what’s been discussed in re-design, Qwest needs to get agreement from all participants that this can go forward as an Industry Guideline change. There was no dissent from the participants to this being an Industry Guideline change. Sharon Van Meter (AT&T) stated that she would like to run this by Donna Osborne-Miller (AT&T) and send an email Monday saying yes or no (as far as agreeing that this is an industry guideline change). Michael Buck (Qwest) mentioned that Qwest did send out a notification in advance of this meeting requesting responses. Sharon Van Meter (AT&T) indicated Donna Osborne-Miller (AT&T) has been on vacation for a while, so she was not certain if Donna had gotten it or not.
