Description Of Change
ASOG 43 Industry Changes:

The QORA ASR Gateway application is being updated to support changes for ASOG 43, including ASOG, Mech Spec and UOM-ASR Schema changes as mandated by OBF. Details of the ASOG 43 industry changes can be found at: http://www.atis.org/

Qwest Specific Edits: The following changes that are customer affecting are also being implemented:

New QORA Pre-Order Validations

•No new edits for this release

New QORA GUI and ASR Gateway Validations

• When the REQTYP = L, the ACT = D, and the ACTI = E or F, QORA will validate the CSPC field on the trunking form and reject the ASR if it does not match the customer service record

• The CSPC field will not be required when the REQTYP = M, the ACT = C and the ACTI field is not populated. If the CSPC field is populated, QORA will perform a validation on the CSPC value and reject the ASR if it is invalid.

Changed QORA GUI and ASR Gateway Validations

• Stopping edit on the P_BIT field implemented with ASOG 41

• Will no longer require HVP field populated on the TRANS or EUSA forms when Ethernet is being ordered and the back end address validation returns a high voltage protection indicator

• When the REQTYP = M QORA is changing the LATA comparison for determining the correct entry in the PSLI entry by comparing the ASR ACTL CLLI LATA to the CSL CLLI LATA to determine if the LATAs are the same or different.

QORA GUI Report enhancements:

• When the ASR Status is Confirmed, customers will be able to choose their CCNA to display:

o If the EVCI = A just the EVCID (EVC circuit ID)

o If the EVCI = B display both the ECKT and the EVCID

o If the EVCI = blank just the ECCKT

Project Meetings

10/19/11 Systems CMP Meeting SCR052711-1IG ASOG 43 Industry Release/QORA and ASR Gateway – Mark asked if it was OK to close. There were no objections.

8/17/11Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said the final notice was sent out on 8/5 with testing available beginning on 8/20 with a release date of 9/19.

6/15/11Systems CMP Meeting Anne Robberson – Qwest presented this new CR. She said the QORA 18.0 ASOG 43 release would be effective September 19. Anne reviewed the planned updates as listed in the CR.

Bonnie Johnson- Integra questioned the first edit associated with when the REQTYP = L, the ACT = D, and the ACTI = E or F, QORA will validate the CSPC field on the trunking form and reject the ASR if it does not match the customer service record. Bonnie said she is nervous if Qwest starts rejecting if it does not match what is on the CSR since the CSR can be wrong. She asked Anne to explain the edit.

Anne Robberson – Qwest said the compare is to the SPPI FID behind the specific USOC and she would provide the specific table that drives the edit.

Bonnie Johnson- Integra asked what happens if reject in error and how is that corrected. Anne Robberson – Qwest said there is a process if the ASR is rejecting incorrectly. She is contacted and (6/28/11 Updates received from PAETEC in CAPS) IF WE DETERMINE THAT THERE IS AN ERROR, THEN WE WILL [delete ONCE INVESTIGATED] INVESTIGATE, AND she can tell the developers to let the ASR come through.

Bonnie Johnson- Integra asked if that happens, would the DD be honored.

Anne Robberson – Qwest said it takes minutes but it could take as long as an hour. Anne asked if she needed to get the USOC.

Bonnie Johnson- Integra said yes and asked if the FID was STPI.

Anne Robberson – Qwest said yes.

Julia Redman-Carter – PAETEC said she wanted to confirm if the (6/28/11 Updates received from PAETEC in CAPS) CLEC IDENTIFIES THAT THE USOC is wrong, THAT QWEST WILL INVESTIGATE. SHE [delete she] is nervous if “we” is Qwest determination WITHOUT REGARD TO CLECS INQUIRY AND RESPONSE TO THE REJECT.

Anne Robberson – Qwest said this is an existing process. If the customer calls Qwest and identifies they are receiving a reject in error, Anne said she receives that info to validate. Anne said the process is being enhanced to include REQTYP = L and ACT = D.

Bonnie Johnson- Integra asked if the edit was up front.

Anne Robberson – Qwest said yes and continued review of planned QORA edits.

Mindy Chapman – Neustar said the first sentence of the CR says Qwest is supporting changes for ASOG 43 and questioned if Qwest is supporting the four new fields and also asked about the four fields on the FOC. Anne Robberson – Qwest said the four new fields would be reflected but not used and that the FOC fields would used if the conference bridge was changing. She said Qwest would be scheduling a more detailed review of all changes.

Nicole James – Qwest said the QORA draft technical specifications would be available July 8 and the walkthrough would be scheduled the following week.

Mark Coyne – Qwest asked if there were any other questions and there were none.
