Currently when using CEMR for feature verification the information is not understandable. The CEMR User Guide has no documentation on how to interpret the information. Project Meetings

8/22/02 Systems CMP Meeting Kathy Stichter/Eschelon – I have not heard from any of my people on this, but I looked at it myself and it looks wonderful, very understandable. Ok to close. Michael Buck/Qwest – we like wonderful. This CR will be updated to Completed status.

7/18/02 Systems CMP Meeting SCR062402-01 Documentation to read feature verification information to CEMR (Originated by Eschelon) Kathy Stichter/Eschelon reviewed this change request. Eschelon is requesting the Documentation associated with the CEMR feature verification is clarified so it can be understood. Michael Buck/Qwest asked if there were any other comments. Jeff Thompson/Qwest said that Qwest is ok with providing this information. Qwest completed the research to ensure that the vendors do not copyright this information. Michael Buck/Qwest asked if there were any other questions and was everyone in agreement to move forward with implementing this request. Everyone agreed. The LOE is provided in the CR and the status will be updated to Development.

7/2/02 Clarification Meeting Attendees: Kathy Stichter, Eschelon, Dan Busetti, Qwest, Lynn Stecklein, Qwest Introduction of Attendees Introduction of the participants on the Conference Call were made and the purpose of the call discussed.

Review Requested (Description of) Change Kathy Stichter said that whenever they request a Feature Verification in CEMR they are getting information back that is not understandable to the CLECs. For example, they are used to seeing ESM (Call forwarding) and what they are receiving is switch language or jargon. They would like an interpretation of what is being given back. The type of switch also seems to have an impact on what type of information is provided.

Confirm Areas & Products Impacted Dan Busetti asked if Eschelon only needed an interpretation on the switched side Kathy Stichter confirmed that they would only require an interpretation on the switched side. She said that they can look at the USOC finder via the Wholesale Web site.

Confirm Right Personnel Involved Lynn Stecklein said that she would involve Catherine Garcia/Process Specialist since she was not able to join the call. Lynn Stecklein also said that she would determine if Dan Busetti will stay involved with this CR.

Identify/Confirm CLECs Expectation Eschelon would like an interpretation of the information they are receiving back on Feature Verification.
