Originator: Houer, Corey
Originator Company Name: Desktop Media
Owner: Thompson, Jeff
Director:
CR PM: Esquibel-Reed, Peggy
Description Of Change
We would like Qwest to update CEMR functionality to accommodate the ZCID field. Currently CEMR is not very useful to CLECs that utilize UNE-P because CEMR fails to validate the ownership info (which is ZCID, not RSID)

Expected Deliverable:

Updated CEMR application, ASAP.

Project Meetings

October 21, 2002 Email from Desktop Media: Hello Peggy, Desktop Media is satisfied with the CR status as resolved. Thank you for fixing this problem. Corey Hauer Desktop Media

- October 17, 2002 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Michael Buck/Qwest stated that the patch was deployed and there were no issues from Desktop Media. Unless anyone has any objection, we will update this to completed status. Liz Balvin/WorldCom stated that CEMR was ready to accept RSID, UNE-P would expect ZCID. Dan Busetti/Qwest stated that CEMR will accept RSID and ZCID. The trouble was in a downstream system, which was fixed. ZCID is now populated correctly. Liz Balvin/WorldCom asked if a patch was done. Dan Busetti/Qwest stated that in the downstream system we did put a fix in place. Liz Balvin/WorldCom asked when that happened. Dan Busetti/Qwest stated September 27th and that there was one put in earlier. Jeff Thompson/Qwest stated that he was not sure how WorldCom would have an issue here. Liz Balvin/WorldCom stated that she went to IMA training and it was mentioned that this was a problem. Jeff Thompson/Qwest stated that that issue has been addressed and that this has been working. Liz Balvin/WorldCom asked if there are any unique nuances for UNE-P when submit trouble tickets? Dan Busetti/Qwest stated that they are to be sent in as normal, the same way you send everything else. Dan Busetti/Qwest stated that he would make sure the training folks understand that there are no issues.

September 19, 2002 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Michael Buck/Qwest stated that Qwest implemented a bug fix, another bug fix is in process and the permanent fix will be implemented on September 27, 2002. Dan Busetti/Qwest stated that the bug fix is for marking the difference of line splitting and line sharing. The bug fix in progress is for a functionality issue with the line share flow. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon asked if this request is specifically for line splitting and line sharing. Dan Busetti/Qwest responded, yes. Michael Buck/Qwest stated that the status is now Development and on 9/27 can change to CLEC Test or can work off-line with Desktop Media to close this CR. There was no dissent, from the CLECs, to working off-line for CR closure.

August 14, 2002 Clarification Meeting - Attendees: Corey Hauer/Desktop Media, Denise/Desktop Media, Dan Busetti/Qwest, Cathy Garcia/Qwest, Roszan Jarman-Konkel/Qwest, Peggy Esquibel-Reed/Qwest Peggy Esquibel-Reed/Qwest stated the purpose of this call was for Qwest to ask questions of Desktop Media to ensure that Qwest fully understands the request. Peggy Esquibel-Reed confirmed with Desktop Media that the CR was for any UNE-P product and reviewed the CR description. Corey Hauer/Desktop Media - feature verification is not working for any UNE-P accounts. Get ownership error's and trouble tickets do not work when there is line splitting because the ZCID is not utilized. Dan Busetti/Qwest - Are you having problems opening trouble tickets? Corey Hauer/Destop Media - Yes, for line splitting with UNE-P. CEMR looks and evaluates if they own the POTS account. CEMR can't find that they do and an error is received. Dan Busetti/Qwest - asked for examples of 4 or 5 TNs and asked what type of error that Desktop Media was getting. Denise/Desktop Media - When they call AMSC, they also get the same error message. Dan Busetti/Qwest - Do you receive the error message when own voice & data portions? Corey Hauer/Desktop Media - Yes. CEMR does not accommodate ZCID, only RSID. Corey Hauer/Desktop Media - provided some TN's on the call: 507.663.9088, 507.377.2929, 507.373.2678, 507.373.3929. Some were CEMR issues, some were not. Dan Busetti/Qwest - asked for examples in order to do root cause on them. Corey Hauer/Desktop Media - Nothing works for feature verification and problems with the opening of trouble tickets when there is line splitting on the account. Corey agreed to email examples to Peggy Esquibel-Reed/Qwest today. Dan Busetti/Qwest - he has examples for the feature verification issue.
