8/22/02 Systems CMP Meeting

Mark Heline/Qwest Reviewed the converting of web access from IXC over to service delivery gateway for this CR. This won’t affect anyone who is already using the service delivery gateway. Some CLECs will need to get userid’s and digital certificates. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon is there a proposed implementation date? Mark Heline/Qwest not at this time, but we will follow the CMP guidelines Jeff Thompson/Qwest let’s create an action item to communicate the timeline. Jonathan Spangler/AT&T what billing files are we talking about? Jeff Thompson/Qwest there are many ways in which you can get your billing files, off the web is only one way, you can elect for NDM, and we actually ship out cartridge tapes, and we are trying to consolidate web farms to cut costs. If a CLEC wants files off the web, this will be the way to get them. We are not changing the method of access, just where you go get it. Kathy Stichter/Eschelon do we (Eschelon) get items off the web today? Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon yes Kathy. Liz Balvin/WorldComregarding the timing, you are not going to do it in the next couple of weeks? Jeff Thompson/Qwest no not in the next couple of weeks. Liz Balvin/WorldCom so this is our first notification? Jeff Thompson/Qwest yes, we will bring it forward again when we have additional information.

RE: SCR081302-01 (Convert Web Access For Billing Files from IXC (E-Data) Gateway to Service Delivery Gateway)

Qwest has reviewed the information submitted as part of Change Request SCR081302-01. Based upon the scope of this CR as agreed to in the Clarification Meeting (held August 16, 2002) Qwest is able to provide an estimated Level of Effort (LOE) of 400 to 700 hours for this Wholesale Billing Interface Change Request.

At the next Monthly Systems CMP Meeting, CMP participants will be given the opportunity to comment on this Change Request and provide additional clarifications. Any clarifications and/or modifications identified at that time will be incorporated into Qwest’s further evaluation of this Change Request. Upon obtaining consensus from CMP participants as to the appropriate direction for Qwest to take on this Change Request, Qwest will review release schedules and development timetables in an effort to evaluate options for potential scheduling of Change Request SCR081302-01.

Sincerely, Qwest
