Project Meetings

12/12/12 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink CR said the CR was discussed in the Product Process package as a cross over CR and was to be addressed as a level 1 change. This is the last month it will appear in the System package.

11/14/12 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink reviewed the response that CenturyLink provided to Integra and as included in the package. The proposed solution is for the CR to be crossed over to a Product Process CR and for a level 1 notification to be sent as a process option that does not supercede the current process. Mark said that CenturyLink received questions from Integra on the provided response and was waiting to hear back if there were any additional questions.

Kim Isaacs – Integra said Steph Prull - Integra was not on the call but Kim would check with her to see if there were any other questions.

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said if there were no additional questions, CenturyLink would send the Level 1 notice out before the end of the month.

10/17/12 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said Steph Prull from Integra had presented the CR last month and that CenturyLink SMEs have looked into the available options and would like to cross this CR over to a Product Process CR. The plan is to make a documentation update to provide how to download multiple or All files for the Wire Center Tool. Mark said the plan is for the notification to be a level 1 process option that does not supercede the current process.

Kim Isaacs – Integra requested confirmation that this can be done today and that this is just a documentation update.

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said yes and that the CR response will be sent soon.

09/19/12 Systems CMP Meeting Steph Prull – Integra presented the new CR. She said the current process for the Wire Center Tool must be done one file at a time and this CR was to request a tool that would speed up the process. She said the request was straightforward.

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink relayed a clarification call was held on 9/6/12 and said the CenturyLink team was looking into a solution.

09/06/2012 Clarification Call Attendees: Steph Prull – Integra Lorie Robberson – Integra Kim Isaacs – Integra Mark Coyne – CenturyLink Denise Martinez – CenturyLink Susan Lorence – CenturyLink John Hansen – CenturyLink Jamal Boudhaouia – CenturyLink

John Hansen – CenturyLink introduced the Change Request (CR) and asked Steph Prull from Integra to clarify the desired outcome from this request.

Steph Prull – Integra stated that currently the results of a bulk wire center tool inquiry or Raw Loop Data search were available, however the ability to save the results as a text file was tedious and that it required saving each result individually. The goal of this request would be gain the ability to save multiple records, up to and including all of the records from the search as a batch download rather than having to save each record individually. There would be no change to the file type or the file structure.

Jamal Boudhaouia – CenturyLink asked if Integra was able to connect electronically because there is one CenturyLink customer today that does this and pulls the files to their server and if Integra can connect electronically, it might be the resolution to their request.

Steph Prull – Integra stated that they currently do not have that capability, but if they did, it would be an acceptable resolution as long as the digital certificate issue didn’t interfere.

Jamal Boudhaouia – CenturyLink stated that Covad is the company that has the direct connection and that he would check to see if Integra could utilize the same option. It would save development time and money and would check with them.

Steph Prull – Integra indicated that she could also reach out to Covad. If this was an option to any CLEC without violating potential agreements, it would satisfy the request.

Jamal Boudhaouia – CenturyLink stated that he had what he needed to proceed.

John Hansen – CenturyLink asked if anyone else from Integra had anything to add.

Steph Prull – Integra stated that if this could be done sooner than later, it would help.

Susan Lorence – CenturyLink stated that perhaps this could be established as a process option rather than a system request as it is currently presented. If so, it could be implemented as a process option and be an immediate change via a Level 1 notice.

Steph Prull – Integra asked if this would cause the CR to be crossed over from a Systems CR to a Product/Process CR.

Susan Lorence – CenturyLink stated that it would. If that is the direction we would need to take, it could be discussed when it was presented at the monthly CMP meeting.

John Hansen – CenturyLink asked if there were any other comments or questions. There were none. The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 AM MT.

CenturyLink Response

CenturyLink Draft Response

November 5, 2012 Steph Prull, Integra

SUBJECT: CR # SCR082712-1 Download multiple/all .txt files option for Wire Center Tool This letter is in response to Integra’s Change Request (CR) SCR082712-1, Download multiple/all .txt files option for Wire Center Tool. This CR requests the ability to choose to download and save selected or all Wire Center CLLIs as an option. Integra is requesting the ability to download files without manual intervention for every file. Integra would continue to see the files as .txt files. Integra expects CenturyLink to provide a way to automatically download selected or all files in the Wire Center CLLI/RLD tool on the web. CenturyLink accepts this CR and our SMEs have been working on developing the solution. CenturyLink believes this CR will not require a system solution from a CLEC perspective and would like to cross this CR over to a Product Process change request during the November CMP meeting. As such, this CR SCR082712-1 will be closed and CenturyLink will open CR PC082712-1X on Integra’s behalf with a reference to the original system CR. CenturyLink views the implementation of this crossed-over CR as a Level 1, “Process options with no mandatory deadline, that does not supersede the existing processes and that does not impose charges, regardless of whether the CLEC exercises the option” notification. Utilizing this approach would allow the documentation update to become effective immediately. CenturyLink proposes the following solution that will allow CLECs the option to individually download and manipulate the selected wire center data in the manner that best fits their business needs. • CLECs can employ programming languages such as WGET, CURL, or PERL to download all files • Using one of these languages through a web server URL allows users to download all files CenturyLink will seek concurrence for this approach at the November Monthly Product & Process CMP meeting. Sincerely, John Hansen CenturyLink CR Project Manager
