10/17/02 CMP Systems Monthly MeetingMichael Buck/Qwest stated that there were no objections received to proceed with this request as an Industry Guideline CR. Jeff Thompson/Qwest stated that BOS specs come out twice a year and that Qwest has made a habit of tracking to those BOS specs. Qwest is following the process to note that we will be migrating our BOS feeds to version 39. Michael Buck/Qwest stated that the Qwest response is located on page 6 of 9, of attachment D. Michael Buck/Qwest stated that the CR status would be updated to Presented.

Qwest has initiated a Change Request using the Change Management Process (CMP) for Industry Guideline Change Requests.

The Change Request Originator has indicated that updates to CABS/BOS version 39 are scheduled to take place between March 1 and May 30, 2003. These updates are part of Telecordia updates and result from OBF issues (including OBF issues 2138 and 2227). In accordance with Section 5.1.1 of the Qwest Wholesale Change Management Process Document, http://www.qwest.com/wholesale/cmp/whatiscmp.html, Qwest has posted this Industry Guideline CR to the interactive reports on the Qwest Wholesale CMP web site. This CR will be addressed at the October 17, 2002 Monthly CMP Systems Meeting and identified in the meeting distribution packet.

Any party objecting to the classification of CR # SCR091802-01IG as Industry Guideline must submit a statement documenting the reasons why the objecting party does not agree that the CR should be classified as Industry Guideline no later than 8 business days prior to the Monthly CMP Systems Meeting. The deadline for objecting to the classification is 5 p.m. MT, Monday October 7, 2002. Objecting parties may submit their reasons for objection through the Qwest CMP Comment Process located on the Qwest CMP web site at http://www.qwest.com/wholesale/cmp/comment.html.

This Qwest submitted Change Request indicates that updates to CABS/BOS version 39 are scheduled to take place March 17, 2003. These updates are part of Telecordia updates and result from OBF issues (including OBF issues 2138 and 2227).

The Change Management Notification, Document Number:CMPR.09.26.02.F.01332.CABSBOSCR was distributed on September 26, 2002 informing of this Industry Guideline Change Request. There were no objections received by Qwest; therefore, this Change Request, SCR091802-01IG, will be classified as an Industry Guideline CMP CR. This Change Request will be at the next Monthly Systems CMP Meeting.

The Level of Effort (LOE) for this Change Request is 750 to 1500 hours.
