This Change Request will (1) allow a CLEC to submit a CSR based on a valid ATN and (2) if the request is by WTN, the corresponding response transaction will also return the associated ATN value. A request by ATN will return CSR details for all working telephone numbers.

Expected Deliverable:

CSR request by ATN will return information for all working telephone numbers. CSR request by WTN will return details for the one particular WTN as well as the associated ATN value if applicable.

Project Meetings

October 17, 2002 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Liz Balvin/WorldCom stated that the CR was submitted and then it came up that the requested functionality already exists except for in the document. Therefore, we can cancel this CR. The data request is simply now to update the SATE documentation. Thanks to Eschelon we got a secondary approval to get that added. Wendy Green/Qwest stated that it is scheduled to be added to the Data Document for Friday, with 11.0. Michael Buck/Qwest stated that the status would be changed to Withdrawn.

October 14, 2002 Email from Liz Balvin/WorldCom Peggy, Per our testing it was discovered that this functionality does, in fact, exist in Qwest production environment. Therefore, the attached change request can be cancelled. That said, WCom also submitted a data request to have this functionality added to SATE. While it was determine the functionality existed, the documentation doesn't make this apparent. Therefore, WCom will be requesting support from another CLEC to have this documented. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Liz Balvin WorldCom Carrier Management - Qwest Internal Line - V625-7305 External Line - 303-217-7305 Pager (888) 900-7221

- Meeting Minutes for the Clarification call for SCR092002-01 held on 10/3/02 Attendees were: Liz Balvin, David Burley from WorldCom, Mark Routh, John Gallegos, Berkley Loggie, Monica Manning, Shonna Pasionek, Qiana Davis from Qwest. Mark Routh/Qwest-started the meeting and asked everybody to introduce themselves. He introduced the Change Request and read the title. Dave Burley/WorldCom- indicted that WorldCom was looking for Qwest to provide the capability to secure a CSR based upon submitting a valid ATN. Currently, Qwest allows a CLEC to request a CSR based upon submitting the WTN value. This Change Request will (1) allow a CLEC to submit a CSR based on a valid ATN and (2) if the request is by WTN, the corresponding response transaction will also return the associated ATN value. A request by ATN will return CSR details for all working telephone numbers. Monica Manning/Qwest-explained to the WorldCom reps that current IMA functionality allows them to retrieve a Full CSR, using a WTN from the account. She also explained that the ATN usually represents one of the WTNs on the account. She asked them to define what they meant by ATN. Dave Burley/WorldCom- explained that ATN is the Billing Telephone Number (BTN). Monica Manning/Qwest-also explained that ATN/BTN information is considered proprietary and not provided in a CSR response. IMA filters the ATN/BTN data from the response. She advised Dave that if WorldCom submits a WTN, LOA/POA and customer name/address, a Full CSR can be retrieved that contains all WTNs on an account. Dave Burley/WorldCom- stated that his testing in SATE only allowed him to retrieve on WTN at a time. Monica Manning/Qwest-suggested that there might be a bug. John Gallegos/Qwest- agreed to investigate and advise WorldCom. John stated that if WorldCom's CSR problems are attributable to a SATE bug, then we might be able to close the CR. John Gallegos/Qwest- indicated that he would get back to them by the October Systems CMP meeting or before if he could get the answer to this issue. He mentioned that maybe this could be handled as a bug fix in SATE. Liz Balvin/WorldCom- noted that she didn’t want to handle this as a SATE CR because it took too long to get a resolution. John Gallegos/Qwest- said he would work with the EDI implementation team for WorldCom and the SATE team on this.
