Project Meetings

9/18/03 CMP Systems Meeting Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon asked what could they do with these CRs in CLEC Test when we have to skip 13.0 and go straight to 14.0. Connie Winston/Qwest said that if problems were found during migration, Qwest would work with the CLEC and fix the problem. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon stated that there was no value in keeping this CR open and said that it could be closed.

8/21/03 CMP Systems Meeting Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon stated that she didn’t know how Eschelon could close the CRs without using SATE because they were a GUI user. Connie Winston/Qwest suggested that Johnson speak with Judy Schultz/Qwest about her concerns. She stated that they could read out in September. CR remains open.

Clarification Meeting: Friday, January 3, 2003

Attendees: Bonnie Johnson-Eschelon, Wendy Green-Qwest, Laurel Nolan-Qwest

Review Requested (Description of Change) Nolan-Qwest reviewed the title and description of change as stated on the CR form. Nolan-Qwest asked Eschelon if there were any additions or corrections. Green-Qwest stated that there were two ways to implement the change. She stated that 1) Qwest could provided a canned set of data where the CLEC would look for a set of data from the system in return or 2) she asked if Eschelon wanted SOSI to be available for any order submitted through SATE. Johnson-Eschelon asked Green which option she thought was best. Green-Qwest stated that in option #1 a set of data would be available, but that it does not allow the CLEC to submit an order and then check the status. Johnson-Eschelon stated that she didn't see the need to have option #2. She then asked which LOE was lower. Green-Qwest stated that she believed that option #1 would require a lower LOE, but that she needed to investigate. Johnson-Eschelon asked if Qwest could provide both LOEs and then the CLECs could choose. Nolan-Qwest stated that because prioritization would be presented during the next monthly meeting that the team would need to decide which option they would go ahead with during the next meeting and then the prioritization form would be updated after the meeting and the form would be mailed out.

Nolan-Qwest asked if there were any additional comments and then read the expected deliverables as listed on the CR form.

Confirm Interfaces and Products Impacted: SATE

Confirm Right Personnel Involved - All appropriate personnel participated in the clarification meeting.

Establish Action Plan - Nolan-Qwest stated that Qwest would provide two LOEs and that Eschelon would present the CR at the CMP Systems meeting and that the CR would be eligible for the SATE prioritization after the January meeting.

CenturyLink Response

DRAFT RESPONSE January 7, 2003

RE: SCR122002-02-Add Service order inquiry status (SOSI) to SATE

Qwest has reviewed the information submitted as part of Change Request (SCR122002-02). Based upon the scope of this CR as agreed to in the Clarification Meeting, Qwest agreed to provide two options for this CR. In Option 1, Qwest would provide a pre-defined set of transactions that can be used to test the SOSI function. The LOE for this solution (option 1) is 515-650. In Option 2, would allow for the SOSI query to be used on any transaction that is entered. The LOE for this solution (option 2) is 480-600.

At the next Monthly Systems CMP Meeting, CMP participants will be given the opportunity to comment on this Change Request and provide additional clarifications. Any clarifications and/or modifications identified at that time will be incorporated into Qwest's further evaluation of this Change Request. During the clarification call Eschelon requested that the two options and LOE be presented to the CLEC community for discussion. Due to the SATE 13.0 prioritization timeline, it was agreed that an option would need to be selected during the January CMP Monthly Meeting.

This Change Request is an eligible candidate for the SATE 13.0 prioritization vote.

Sincerely, Qwest
