Description Of Change

EASE will be implementing a modification to the user reset capabilities. This will require all users to provide a valid email in addition to establishing a unique security question/answer reset key when they log into the system for the first time after implementing.

Project Meetings

7/17/19 System CMP Meeting Mark Coyne (CenturyLink) The notice for ASOG 59 went out on 7/12/19. Letty Walker (CenturyLink) completed the walk thru of the changes right after the CMP call. Comments are due July 30th and testing will begin August 24th with implementation September 23rd, 2019. There were no questions or comments.

6/19/19 System CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink stated this CR was presented last month by Letty Walker. Everyone agreed this CR will be included in the July 22 EASE Point Release 6.2. A notification went out Friday 6/21 and included updates to the EASE ASR admin guide along with custom business rules.

5/15/19 System CMP Meeting Letty Walker – CenturyLink said CenturyLink is always looking for ways to improve our systems for users. This CR is to allow users to reset their EASE ASR password without having to go through an administrator. Letty said after this change is implemented, it will require each user to provide an email address the first time they log in to EASE and then they will be required to set up a series of security questions. Letty said this same change is being implemented for CenturyLink users.

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said this CR will be included in the July 22, 2019 EASE Point Release 6.2.

Letty Walker – CenturyLink said this is more of a process change for users and that CenturyLink will update the EASE ASR Admin Guide.

Kim Isaacs – Allstream said what will happen for existing users.

Letty Walker – CenturyLink said after this is implemented, everyone will have to enter in their email address the very first time they use the system.

Kim Isaacs – Allstream said she likes this change.

Susan Lorence – CenturyLink said she wanted to confirm that this change will be included in the System EASE ASR Release 6.2. On the system notice that will go out on June 21, 2019, CenturyLink will include an update to the EASE ASR Admin Guide along with the Custom Business Rules updates. Susan said there will be a ten day comment cycle and that the update will be implemented on July 22, 2019.
