Description Of Change

The EASE ASR Gateways are being updated to support changes for ASOG 54, including ASOG and UOM-ASR Schema changes as mandated by ATIS-OBF. Details for the ASOG 54 industry changes can be found at http://www.atis.org/. New or changed fields and forms being added to the ASOG form package are as follows:

CN/R practice: Modification to the General text to add this is a augment of existing error notification procedures.

ECI practice: Removal of the following fields:

CPHD, PEND ORD, SM, SM2, SM3, SM4, SM5, SM6, SM7, QOPT, PCT, EASPEED, EA TYPE, CONFIG REMARKS, ACPON, ACAT, TNT, ACCESSID, ACCESSORD, PORTID, PORTORD, ACCID, ACORD, SOPTCON, SUBNET MASK, TRM, VPN NM, IPAI, IP ADDRESS, ICID, EXDI, EGRESS, EAID, ASN

• REQTYP field (Form:ASR): Modification to valid entries to add (ASR) abbreviation to step 1 and 3a, change of verbiage from Service Request to Service Inquiry in Step 3A an 3B.

• IWBAN (Form:ASR): Modification to Usage Note 1 to add value of ‘H’.

• SITE CON (Form:ASR): Creation of new field – Site Contact – Identifies the site contact name for access when the customer utilizes a Carrier Hotel as the primary location.

• TEL NO (SITE CON) (Form:ASR): Create of new field - Site Contact Telephone Number – Identifies the telephone number of the Site Contact.

• SITE EMAIL (Form: ASR): Creation of new field - Site contact Electronic Mail Address – Identifies the electronic mail address of the Site Contact.

• GETO (Form: Transport, SES, EUSA): Addition of valid entry for ‘H’, modification of valid entries notes 4.

• GETO (Form: MSL): Addition of valid entry for ‘F’ and ‘H’.

• GBTN (Form:SES, EUSA): Modification of Usage Note 1 to add values of ‘F’ and ‘H’.

• JK NUM (Form: SALI): Modification of Definition Note 1; When the jack identification is unknown, enter 99 in this field.

• OTC (Form: EVC): Modification of Usage Note 1 to require when ASC-EC field on the ASR Form is populated.

Project Meetings

3/15/17 System CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink relayed that the EASE system Release 2.0 will be installed during the upcoming weekend and has a planned effective date of March 20, 2017.

2/15/17 System CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said testing with CenturyLink for EASE Release 2.0 for this CR will be available February 18, 2017. The Draft GUI Release Notes will be posted for customer comment on February 20, 2017 and the Final GUI Release Notes will be issued February 27, 2017 with a planned effective date of March 20, 2017.

1/18/17 System CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said this CR was presented by Letty Walker – CenturyLink in the December monthly meeting. The Draft Technical Specifications were issued January 6, 2017. There was a Draft Tech Spec walkthrough conducted on January 16 but with the holiday for some customers on that day, CenturyLink will be conducting an additional walkthrough later today, January 18. The EASE Release 2.0 effective date is March 20, 2017.

12/14/16 System CMP Meeting Letty Walker – CenturyLink presented this new CR for the EASE ASR gateway. Letty reviewed the new or changed fields and form changes included in the CR Description to support ASOG 54, including ASOG and UOM-ASR Schema changes, as mandated by ATIS-OBF.

Kim Isaacs - Electric Lightwave asked what the date is for the EASE release.

Letty Walker – CenturyLink said the release is scheduled to be effective the weekend of March 18, 2017.

NOTE: The CenturyLink OSS Interface Release calendar shows the EASE Release 2.0 Production effective date as March 20, 2017.
