Turning Call Waiting on and off

The Call Waiting feature allows you to receive and answer additional incoming calls while you're on an active call. If you turn the feature off, new calls will automatically go to your voicemail while you’re on a call.
Note: By default, Call Waiting is turned on. We recommend that you keep it on.

Turn Call Waiting on

If Call Waiting was turned off and you want to put a call on hold and take a second call, turn on this feature.

To turn Call Waiting on:

  1. Log in to the SIMPLE end user portal.

The Voicemail tab opens.

  1. Click the Call Settings tab.

    The Incoming Calls tab opens.
  1. Scroll down, change the Call Waiting toggle to on.
  1. Click Save.

Turn Call Waiting off

When you're on the phone and want an incoming call to go to voicemail, turn off this feature.

To turn Call Waiting off:

  1. Log in to the SIMPLE end user portal.

The Voicemail tab opens.

  1. Click the Call Settings tab.

    The Incoming Calls tab opens.
  1. Scroll down, change the Call Waiting toggle to off.
  1. Click Save.
