Changing a custom greeting for an Auto Attendant

If you're using a custom greeting and want to change it, as an administrator, you can delete the current message and upload a new WAV file.

To change a custom greeting:
  1. Click the Advanced Services tab. 
  1. Click Auto Attendants
  1. From the Actions list, select Edit Service

The Incoming Call tab opens.

  1. Click the Greetings tab. 
  1. Click Delete
  1. To upload a new greeting, do one of the following (you can do both if you have different options for business and after hours):

    • To upload a custom greeting for Business Hours, click Click on the icon to upload a greeting saved as a CITT u-Law 8.000 kHz, 8 bit Mono WAV file format.

    • To upload a custom greeting for After Hours, click Click on the upload icon to add a file to upload a greeting saved as a CITT u-Law 8.000 kHz, 8 bit Mono WAV file format.
  1. Click Save
