How to set up your email on an iOS device

NOTE: Email setup can vary by operating system. The steps on this page are general. If you have trouble, refer to the instructions for your specific system. You will need the POP/SMTP settings for your email account to complete setup or to edit your email settings. Select your email from the dropdown above to see the correct settings.

  1. To set up a new email account, open your device Settings.
  1. Select Mail.

  1. Select Other.

  1. Enter the name, email address, password, and description for the new account, then select Next.

  1. If your email does not automatically configure, enter the POP info.

Incoming Mail Server:

  • Host Name:
    mail.centurylink.net

  • Username:
    your full email address

Outgoing Mail Server:

  • Host Name:  
    smtp.centurylink.net

  • Username:  
    your full email address

  1. Select Save to complete setup.

Choose your email address domain from the drop-down below to see the POP/SMTP settings for centurylink.net, qwestoffice.net or other domains.
