How to set up your email on an iOS device

Choose your email address domain from the drop-down below to see the POP/SMTP settings for centurylink.net, qwestoffice.net or other domains.

 

Other domains include the following:

Reminder: You must create your email address before you can set it up on your device. 

NOTE: Email setup can vary by operating system. The steps on this page are general. If you have trouble, refer to the instructions for your specific system. You will need the POP/SMTP settings for your email account to complete setup or to edit your email settings. Select your email from the dropdown above to see the correct settings.

  1. To set up a new email account, select Settings from the home screen.

  1. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

  1. Select Add Account.

  1. Select Other.

  1. Enter a "Name," "Email" and "Password," then select Next.

  1. The mail program will set up your account automatically. If you get an error, select OK and continue to the next step.

  1. Select the POP tab.

  1. Make sure you've entered the correct Email, User Name (Incoming/Outgoing) and Host Name.

Incoming Mail Server:

  • Host Name:
    mail.centurylink.net

  • Username:
    your full email address

Outgoing Mail Server:

  • Host Name:  
    smtp.centurylink.net

  • Username:  
    your full email address

  1. Select Save to complete setup.

  1. From the home screen, select Mail to check your email.
