How to set up your email on an iOS device

Choose your email address domain from the dropdown below to see the POP/SMTP server settings: centurylink.net or qwestoffice.net, or other: centurytel.net, clds.net, coastalnow.net, cochill.net, cswnet.com, elpasotel.net, embarqmail.com, emadisonriver.com, emadisonriver.net, gallatinriver.net, grics.net, gulftel.com, madisonriver.biz, mebtel.net, qwest.net, q.com

Reminder: You must create your email address before you can set it up on your device.  

NOTE: Email setup can vary by device. The steps on this page are general. If you have trouble, refer to the user guide for your specific device. You will need the POP/SMTP settings for your email account to complete the setup. You will also need the POP/SMTP settings if you need to edit your email settings for incoming and outgoing messages. Select your email account below to view the settings.

  1. To set up a new email account select Settings from the home screen 

2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars 

3. Select Add Account

4. Select Other

5. Select Add Mail Account

6. Enter a "Name", "Email" and "Password", then select Next

7. The mail program will set up your account automatically. If you get an error, select OK and continue to the next step.

8. Select the POP tab

9. Make sure you've entered the correct Email, User Name (Incoming/Outgoing) and Host Name.

Incoming Mail Server:

  • Host Name: mail.centurylink.net
  • User Name: Full Email Address
  • Password: Password

Outgoing Mail Server:

  • Host Name: smtp.centurylink.net
  • User Name: Full Email Address
  • Password: Password

10. Select Save to complete the setup

11. From the home screen, select Mail to check your email
