Why is my CenturyLink internet monthly recurring charge increasing?

As we continue to invest in our network, improve our services and adjust to current economic conditions, we must periodically make adjustments that affect customer rates.

How will I know if my monthly recurring charge for CenturyLink internet will increase?

Customers affected by an increase will be notified at least 30 days in advance of the change in their monthly recurring charge for CenturyLink internet service.

 

Customers who prepay for their services on a month-to-month basis, via a debit or credit card, will receive an email notification sent to the email address associated with their account.

 

Customers who receive a monthly bill for the prior month of service, either as paperless billing or as a printed bill, will be notified by a message on their monthly bill.

Will I see an increase in my CenturyLink internet charges if I have a current Price for Life promotion?

No, the increase to the CenturyLink internet monthly recurring charge does not apply to customers currently enrolled in the Price for Life promotion.

Will I see an increase in my CenturyLink internet charge if I currently receive a Lifeline or Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) monthly discount?

Yes, the increase to the CenturyLink internet monthly recurring charge may apply to customers currently enrolled in and receiving these discounts. Lifeline or ACP monthly discounts will continue to be applied to the new monthly recurring charges.

When will the new CenturyLink internet monthly charge appear on my bill?

The new monthly recurring charge will be effective 30 days following the notification of the increase; therefore, you can expect to see the adjusted rate on your next monthly bill.
