Turning Remote Office on and off

You can turn the Remote Office feature on when you need to use an alternate phone, such as your mobile or home phone, as your business phone. When the feature is on, you can make and receive calls as if you’re in the office, and your office number will appear in the caller ID. 

Turn Remote Office on

If you need to use your mobile or another phone to make and receive business calls so your office number shows in the caller ID, turn on this feature.

To turn Remote Office on:

  1. Log in to the SIMPLE end user portal.

The Voicemail tab opens.

  1. Click the Call Settings tab.

    The Incoming Calls tab opens.
  1. Scroll down, change the Remote Office toggle to on.  
  1. In the Set number field, type the remote phone’s number.
  1. Click Save.

Turn Remote Office off

If you no longer need to use your mobile or another phone to make and receive business calls, turn off this feature.

To turn Remote Office off:

  1. Log in to the SIMPLE end user portal.

The Voicemail tab opens.

  1. Click the Call Settings tab.

    The Incoming Calls tab opens.
  1. Scroll down, change the Remote Office toggle to off.  
  1. Click Save.
