Step-by-step set up of Connected Voice Professional version

Connected Voice will only work with phones that are connected to your internet service. Any phones plugged into a standard phone jack will not work with Connected Voice.

You can set up your Grandstream phone on a flat surface or mount it on a wall.

The Grandstream phone will automatically self-configure after it's connected to your CenturyLink internet service. All you need to do is plug in the phone and connect the cables in these four steps:

Step 1: Connect the network cable

Plug the Ethernet cable into the LAN port on the back of the phone. Connect the other end of the cable to an active Ethernet port, either on the back of your modem or an Ethernet wall jack.

Step 2: Plug in to power

Connect the power adapter cord to the back of the phone and plug it into a wall outlet. The phone will begin boot-up and you'll see the phone screen light up with the Grandstream logo.

Step 3: Configure

The phone’s screen will show the Grandstream logo and possibly messages like “Provisioning” or “Updating”. Give it 1-2 minutes to fully start up. Once the screen shows the date and time, and possibly your extension or name (if auto-configured by your provider), the phone is ready to use.
