If you've received a notice about changes to your CenturyLink billing for phone and internet, you can get answers to frequently asked questions here.

In October 2025, we separated the CenturyLink services of affected customers onto two separate bills—one for CenturyLink phone service and another for CenturyLink internet service. The monthly service rates did not change.

Customers are no longer required to bundle CenturyLink internet and phone services to get a tariffed phone rate for bundling. As a result, customers now receive two separate bills.

A new account number was assigned to your CenturyLink internet service.

Your CenturyLink phone service remained on your current account.

Your monthly service rates, discounts, and promotional pricing still apply as long as you don’t make any changes to your current phone or internet services. If you cancel or make changes to either your CenturyLink phone or internet service, you’ll lose any existing plans, offers, pricing, promotions, discounts, credits, or any Price for Life offers related to both services.

Existing discounts, including Lifeline, and promotional pricing may appear differently after your bill is separated; however, the combined total amount remains the same.

Your payment due date did not change. It is the same date for both your phone and internet service.

Your phone and internet plans and services did not change. That includes your phone number, calling features, internet speeds and features, subscriber agreements, and service terms.

You can continue to view your monthly phone account details and manage your service through your existing My CenturyLink portal.

No action was required on your part unless you'd like to review your account or change your service.

We used your current payment method on file for your separately billed CenturyLink internet and phone services.

We sent a follow-up notice with the new account number for your internet service and instructions about how to view account details, pay your bill, and manage both of your services. Just remember that you need to pay for your internet service and your phone service separately since they are billed to you separately.

We would hate to see you go; however, you can cancel at any time. You are not locked into an annual contract and there are no penalties or early termination fees for canceling.

It’s important to know that if you do cancel or make changes to either your CenturyLink phone or internet service, you’ll lose any existing plans, offers, pricing, promotions, discounts, or credits related to both services.
