You can temporarily suspend service for any device on your account.
Suspending your service turns off the device's access to the Verizon Wireless network making voice, text and data features unavailable. In certain circumstances, this can be very beneficial.
Depending why you're making the request, Verizon can suspend your service for 30 to 90 days. There's no charge to do this, and it only takes a few minutes.
To suspend your service, go online and follow the prompts. When you've successfully suspended your service, you'll see a confirmation page. If you don't see this page, your service has not been suspended. (Note: If you'd prefer, you can call 1-800-922-0204 (from any phone) and follow the automated prompts to temporarily suspend your account.)
IMPORTANT: Unless you cancel your service, once your suspension period expires, your service will automatically be restored.
