Disable DHCP reservations

If you are having trouble connecting new devices to your modem, disable DHCP reservations and remove all devices from the list at the bottom of the page.
NOTE:  This article applies to newer CenturyLink modems. Other modems may have different features, lights, and behaviors.
  1. Connect a device directly to your modem.
  1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.0.1.
  1. Login to your modem by entering the Admin Username and Admin Password, then select "Apply." If your modem is using the default settings, this information is located on the modem sticker.

  1. Select "Advanced Setup."
  1. Select "DHCP Reservation."
  1. Disable the DHCP Reservation State, apply your changes, and remove all devices at the bottom of the page.
