Worried that your payment won't reach us in time?
If you mail in a payment, it can take about 10 days before it arrives and is processed.
So, if your bill is coming due soon, it may be better to pay online, by phone or in person. That way, we're able to adjust the amount due as soon as your payment is successfully submitted.
When you make your payment online, by phone or in person, you should receive a payment confirmation number, either from the representative you contacted or shown on the web confirmation page.
Once you have a payment confirmation number, you can rest easy, knowing that your payment is in!
Note: In most cases, we update your current amount due to reflect what we know to be the up-to-date balance, but there's an exception to this. If you view your bill details when you're in My CenturyLink, you'll actually see the bill that was generated at the end of your billing cycle, including the total amount due for the month. This copy of your bill is intended for your records and is not updated to reflect subsequent payments.
