Connect PlayStation 3 to WiFi

Want to connect your PlayStation 3 to your CenturyLink WiFi modem?  This video provides the step-by-step information to get and stay connected. Don't worry about taking notes or writing anything down—detailed instructions are also available below the video.

  1. Select "Settings." 
  1. Scroll down and select "Network."
  1. Select "Internet Connection Settings."
  1. Select "OK."
  1. Select "Easy."
  1. Select "Wireless."
  1. Select "Scan."
  1. Select the network that matches the SSID on the bottom of your modem.
  1. Go to the next step by using the "Right" direction arrow on your controller. 
  1. Select the option that matches the security type listed on the bottom of your CenturyLink modem. 
  1. Edit the key by using the"X" button on your controller. Enter the key, then push the "Start" button on your controller to continue. The key is the same as the Key/Passphrase listed on the bottom of the modem.

If your password is not working you can look up the settings manually.

  1. Push the "X" button on your controller to continue.
  1. Finally, push the "X" button on your controller to test your connection. You have sucessfully set up WiFi.
