What is the State Commission Gross Receipts Tax?

Funds the operations of the State Commission and the Office of Public Utility Counsel (OPUC). Revenues collected in excess of that necessary to fund these agencies, go to the state General Revenue Fund.

The state, in order to provide funding for the Commission and OPUC, with the remainder remitted to the state General Revenue Fund.
