Why is my Internet slow?

How to Troubleshoot & Fix a Slow Internet Connection

There are a few things we need to check within your home before you make a call to determine if your slow connection is on your end or if it is because of your internet service provider (ISP). We will need to check a few connections and the health of your devices to determine the root of the issue.

Connect one device and close all of your programs
Check the you are not filtering your modem
Check to see if a cable is damaged
Check your devices and reduce bandwidth usage
Check your modem performance
Is the content provider experiencing issues?
Check that you have the proper equipment
Check your outdoor wiring
